Geography:
Location: Southeastern Asia, bordering the Gulf of Thailand, between
Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos.
Area: 181 035 sq. km. (69 900 sq. mi.)
Terrain: Central plain drained by the Tonle Sap (Great Lake) and Mekong
and Bassac Rivers. Heavy forests away from the rivers and the lake,
mountains in the southwest (Cardamom Mountains) and north (Dangrek
Mountains) along the border with Cambodia.

The Royal Cambodian Government (RCG), a constitutional monarchy formed

was established on 24 September 1993.
